法不可見聞覺知










法不可見聞覺知

法不可見聞覺知;若行見聞覺知,是則見聞覺知,非求法也。
--《維摩詰所說經》卷 2

The Dharma can not see, hear, feel, or know.
If it is a dharma that sees, hears, feels, or knows,
then it is seeing, hearing, feeling, or knowing,
and not the Dharma to be sought.

所以凡是證悟之後一定要去檢查所證悟的真心
能不能在六塵中見聞覺知?如果是能在六塵中見聞覺知的,
那就是行於見聞覺知中,不是真實法。
求真實法的人,所求得的真心是不在六塵中見聞覺知的,
那才是真實求法的人。

Therefore, after one is said to have attained enlightenment,
one ought to examine whether the true mind
to which one has been enlightened is able to see, hear, feel,
or know the six sense-objects.
If it can see, hear, feel, or know the six sense-objects,
then it is a functional dharma of seeing, hearing, feeling, or knowing,
and is thus not the real Dharma.
Those who seek the real Dharma are looking for the true mind
which does not see, hear, feel, or know the six sense-objects.

涅槃


平實導師舉 世尊在《楞伽經》中開示:「我所說者,妄想識滅,名為涅槃。」
說明識陰最主要的是指意識,由於意識具有現量、比量和非量等三量境界,
所以才會有種種妄想,因而出生種種不如理作意之思惟與想像。

因為意識有種種虛妄想,故說意識是真正的妄想識;
這是肇因於眾生的我見、我執等邪見執著的緣故,
不肯讓妄想識意識消滅,不斷增長我執與我所執,
是故不停地受生而輪迴生死。

所以,如實明了滅盡五陰十八界,不受後有,妄想識不再出生,是名涅槃。
